Breakfast at Daisy Hill State Forest

A great time was had by all members who attended our annual get together at the Daisy Hill State forest in Brisbane. New members and new cars made for an interesting time for all. Special thanks to Maida Skaarup for organising the event and Peer Skaarup for cooking our breakfast.

Robert Bakker was there with his new acquisition, a yellow (code 100)  1800E bought from Adelaide and arriving just in time for this outing.

Also there, was new/old member Peter Slattery with a 1964 1800S. Peter was one of the inaugural members and first secretary of our original Volvo 1800 Association, as it was called in 1986. Well, he was young and adventurous then, so he gave up his 1968 1800S and played with a BMW2002 for a few years. But now, after all those years he has seen the light and he's back with his old love, the P1800.

Enjoying a chat after breakfast
