Start: Pioneer Park, Landsborough

9:00am for a 9:30 Departure

Get ready for a scenic winter getaway! Club member Griff Kilbourne is putting together a fantastic midweek overnight run through the stunning Sunshine Coast Hinterland this August.

We’ll cruise through picturesque hinterland towns and visit iconic local attractions along the way. As a special highlight, the run will feature a joint meet-up with the Blackall Range Horseless Carriage Club, offering a wonderful opportunity to mingle and admire an eclectic array of classic vehicles and meet like minded car enthusiasts.

Event details

Day 1 Tuesday 18th August:

• Meet at Pioneer Park, Landsborough 9:00 for a 9:30 departure.

• Drive to Kenilworth via Palmwoods, Montville and Maleny with Lunch at the Kenilworth Hotel

• Visit to the Kenilworth Cheese Factory or just a walk around town.

• Drive from Kenilworth to Montville Mountain Inn via Mapleton for the overnight stay.

Day 2 Wednesday 19th August:

• Breakfast in Montville.

• Depart at 9:30 for the Blackhall Range Horseless Carriage Club outside of Maleny for a show of cars ( they have a wide variety of vehicles) and morning tea.

• Depart from Maleny at 11:00 to drive to the Dag Pub via Reeseville for lunch. Some of the Blackhall club members will most likely join in the run to the Dag Pub.

Accomodation is between $185 and $190.

Please advise interest so that Griff can firm up accommodation at Montville, and lunch bookings for Kenilworth and the D'Aguilar Hotels.
